On July 6, 2025, Mr. Liu Tao, Chairman of the company, and Mr. Tian Zhiqiang, General Manager and Board Secretary of Sinoway Forest Technology Co., Ltd., led a delegation to Urumqi, Xinjiang. They held talks with relevant research institutions of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a delegation from the Green University of Uzbekistan, and representatives of Kazakh enterprises, conducting in-depth exchanges on carbon sink forest development, desertification control, and ecological restoration projects, and achieving positive progress.

During the talks, the Kazakh enterprise expressed its willingness to cooperate with Sinoway Forest, planning to jointly develop a carbon sink forest project covering over 10,000 hectares in the country, promoting the coordinated advancement of ecological improvement and carbon asset development.

The Green University of Uzbekistan is a research-oriented university in the country focusing on green technology and sustainable development, with leading research capabilities in desert ecological restoration, water-saving agriculture, and climate-resilient forestry. The two sides reached initial consensus on issues such as scientific research cooperation, technology introduction, project implementation, and talent training.

As scheduled, Chairman Liu Tao and General Manager Tian Zhiqiang will travel to Uzbekistan this week to conduct field visits and special docking with the Green University and the Ministry of Forestry. They will focus on promoting the site selection, technical path optimization, and policy support for large-scale carbon sink forest projects, striving to launch the first batch of ecological restoration projects as soon as possible.
This trip marks the substantive advancement of Sinoway Forest's ecological strategy in the Central Asian region and injects new impetus into the company's global carbon sink layout.
